    Some IPMS Sub model photos

These were taken by Carl Musselman at the 2013 IPMS National Meeting in Denver and originally posted on the Model Warships site. The SubCommittee was represented at this meeting by our own Tom Kisler, who manned a table with some R/C subs and information on the SubCommittee.

Some excellent builds to inspire us!!

I have been acting as contact person between the IPMS and the SubCommittee for several years, helping to maintain our visibility with this 25,000+ person modelers organization.

Thank you for the photos and for being the conduit!
    Peace,
    Tom
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Just got back from Loveland and the awesome IPMS nationals.

      What a great time!

I'll write it all up for an upcoming SCR with some additional photos. I may have actually converted a few of the masses to our cause too.
      Thanks

Hey I know it's of topic but you GOTTA see this Cylon Basestar from the original "Battlestar Galactica" It (they claim) is an exact replica of the filming miniature used. It is something like 4 feet across and has 2000 feet of fiber optic strands.

      Colonial Fleet same scale

..and call me old school but Lt. Starbuck is supposed to be a dude.
