    New static submarine kit

Have any of you seen the new 1/350 scale USS Greeneville LA class submarine from Hobby Boss?
Also I wonder how long after anouncing the new kit, does it show up on the shelves at the hobby stores?
They have had the 1/700 scale kit for a long time, but I believe the 1/350 scale kit is a new item, I just can't find it anywhere.
I wrote Hobby Boss, and Revell and asked them to come out with a 1/350 scale plastic/styrene kit of the Israeli Dolphin class
submarine, and the GAL class of submarine. Still waiting. But it's nice to see that Hobby Boss is adding new submarines to their line up.

It is also in stock at Sprue Bros. http://www.spruebrothers.com/ HBS83531 1]http://www.modelwarships.com/reviews/ships/ss/ssn772-350-hbo/hbo-review.html[/url]

This is NOT Hobby Boss's first 1/350 LA kit. I have their earlier (and slightly more expensive) "3 in 1" LA kit HBS83530. It comes with two upper hulls (with & without VLS). That kit also had some of the same errors, and another goof for the Flight 1 boats in leaving the upper ballast tank side vents as if there was a VLS system. Again, relatively easy fix. The kit also has some "mystery parts" which are now clearly parts for the latest kit's Deal Delivery Vehicle. Actually the "dry" SDV program has been canned, due to development costs and failures.
