Yet ANOTHER NEW submarine kit for 2012

Not to be outdone by RIICH models of the LA 688 models(flights I-II-&III). Now HOBBY BOSS is soon to come out with
an LA class submarine with all new tooling for the 688 flights I-II-&III, all though instead of three seperate models in three
seperate boxes, the new HOBBY BOSS kit will be a three-in-one kit, all three flights in the same box.
Good job HOBBY BOSS, keep up the good work, now come out with a 1/700 scale Virginia ssn774, and Russian K-329
Severodvinsk Yasen/Graney in both 700 and 350 scale, and I'll be really impressed---------gp100man.
PS: Oh ya, my buddy Fred T wants a 637 Sturgeon long hull in 350 scale.

I've been assembling some of the Hobby Boss Chinese submarine (Han class, Xia class, etc.) and the detail appears to be very good. The fit can give you some problems, however, and I find it necessary to do some putty work to fill in seams and part joins. See the next issue of the SCR for a look at these kits.

There is also a new 1/96th Sturgeon due out late this year in short and long hull versions.
