I am having trouble getting much info. but it looks like AVIS models are going to release 1/350 scale models of the 637 Strugeon, Thresher, and some type of Russian sub
surfacing according to the modelshipwights website. Due out in Febuary 2012. Fred could be what you were looking for.-----StevieBEE.

Got more info ------on the website hobbyterra.com they have the 637 Sturgeon 1/350 in stock, and they say the model is made by micro-mir in the Ukraine.

It will be curious to see how well Micro-Mir did on getting the Sturgeon correct. Presumably this is the short hull version, since the kit specifically says SSN-637.

Nice finds and insights, gents! I'd be happy with a 1/350 637 though I'd prefer a 637-Long Hull.
