Peter Hall finally wrapped up the main PE set for the Trumpeter 1/144 Gato kits:



PE 14401 includes everything you need for early- and late-war boats, and everything in between--railings, periscope shears, radars, prop guards, etc. The instructions even show you how to do cut-down conning towers. Combine this with our 1/144 weapons and you should be able to build virtually any of the boats that served in the Fleet. Question on WEM 1/144 Gato PE

Hi John and/or Peter,

I have a question regarding the instruction sheet for the 1/144 Gato PE set. I also sent this message to the WEM email address and posted it on SteelNavy but no response.

In the instructions (which are excellent by the way) for the SJ Radar Antenna Assembly (Early) #48 a piece of PE is marked Item "E" but it is not shown in the assembly steps nor mentioned in the instructions.

Would you please provide some clarification.
