    Backdating the Revell 1/144 Type VIID ...

    Hi, all -
    I picked up a second Revell 1/144 Type VIID U-boat this weekend as a door prize, so I'm thinking of backdating it to a VIIC. Is there any major alteration required beyond just hacking out the added mine-holding section?

    TIA for any help!

      You may want to wait... there is a clue (the drawing of a VIIC deck) in the model instruction that indicates they have plans to make a VIIC.

          Great News, Revell has finally confirmed they will release the Type VIIC in 1/144 coming October 07.
