    Completed Revell Gato

OK, it's display only at this time and it truly isn't complete. I need to learn how to (1) Use an airbrush better and, (2) How to weather the finish realistically.
At any rate, I wrapped this one up yesterday. I added photo-etch gun sights on the 20mm & 40mm, added insulators to the radio wires, used dry transfer draft markings. Also added CMK crew figures (2 lookouts & 1 bridge officer) I'm awaiting cloth flag for national ensign from Loyalhanna to replace decal.

Wow! neat and clean finish. I'm just hoping to finish my Revell Uboat at least 1/2 the way yours looks.
        Well done,

            Mr. Louk is too modest.

Mr. Louk is too modest. He is an artist in his own right. He has taken many of the SubRegatta and SubRon6 fun run photos you have enjoyed on the pages of the SubCommittee Report and on this website for the last few years. We have finally gotten him full tilt into subs! (heh heh heh).

Now John - how about starting that Albacore?!!!

                VERY nicely done!

Could you tell me where you got the crewmen? I googled CMK, but didn't see anything obvious.

Oh, think I found it. How much is 9.3 euro in "real" money?

                    Photo Etch on Revell Gato

I used some left over photo etch from another 1/72 project. There's not much of it left and I cannot recall what brand it is. It must be my "memroids" acting up. Sorry!
