I remember some timke ago - some company was selling a half plastic wwII vintage sub kit, with interior details visible. Anyone remember? I would like a Gato, but a U-boat would do.

Thats the only kit I know of i'm afraid and I think Revell has discontinued production too.

The other WWII boat with interior details is Revell's Type XXI (not as old as the U-47):

The U-47 is very inaccurate. The only parts that seems to be Ok are the diesels.Comment

I have seen resin interior
I have seen resin interior kits for the 1/72nd VIIc from Revell but I cannot remember who makes them all I remember is that they are pretty expensive.

CMK Interiors
Tim, those interiors are all for sale. Check with Mickster, he has them. They're fairly simple to build and it's the paint job, that makes the difference. If you take your time, you can duplicate, what those pictures show. Go for it!
