new large Revell type VII? - this might be old news

hey guys,
I was in the hobby shop yesterday and saw another kit of the large Revell type VII, this one had different art work on the box, and showed it having the extended winter garten, don't know if anyone has seen this version, but thought I would pass it along. Jeff Jones

There's 2 versions

There's 2 versions of the 1/72nd scale VIIc , there's the VIIc as it started the war with small winter garden and the deck gun and the one you just saw is the VIIc/41 with the deck gun removed and the big wintergarden for more AA guns. Same basic hull I think.

Jeff- it's been out for a while.
actually has a different deck and hull shape when compared to the other Revell Type VII... includes a snorkel, extended wintergarten, life raft cannisters, etc.

If you liked the first one, you'll like this one too.
