    Digital Type VIIc

Well, it sure isn't RC, so I figured Static would be the best place for it. I came across this thread recently and thought it'd be fun for everyone here to look over if nothing else.

His surface texturing is absolutely wonderful.

Someone needs to get him some (better?) reference material so that he can continue to refine his work.....he's real close, but as someone already noted there are some obvious things that need to be corrected.

.....now to figure out how to get a copy of this rendering!

It's been my experience that if you offer to help people they're more inclined to reciprocate I've made some great contacts that way.

............so, is that a CG 3D model that is rotatable, zoomable ? Does it serve any purpose other than just artwork ? Could it be animated ?, maybe use it to make a little CG movie ?

Very, VERY cool piece of work. I can imagine the effort.

              Yes it is Mylo,

It can be animated. I'm doing the same thing for a type 9 that will be animated to look photo real for a movie trailer.

I's a lot of work. both the wire frame and the textures and painting. thanks a long time like a real model.

But I still think real models shot in a natural setting always look better. You can always tell when it's CGI. Even the best stuff as in Flags of Our Fathers.
