Bronco Models 1/350 Seawolf

Out of the blue this appeared on todays Hannants update]http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=NB5001

Managed to find there homepage and some finished model pics]http://www.bronco-model.com/1-350.htm

So does anyone know anything about this kit? I can't seem to find any reference to it anyway!

Would love to know what people make of it from the promo pics because I am very tempted by it!

Looks like it is a warmed over version of the Trumpeter Seawolf. According to the pics that I have seen of the Jimmy Carter, that PJ shroud is wrong, and the vents just for of the sail are not spaced correctly. Just some observations.

Well, not so "out of the blue". We discussed this some months ago]http://www.subcommittee.com/cgi-bin....;t=3857

And yes it doesn't look very accurate but is the only injected Seawolf in 1/350...

Don't worry. Your post is a head-up that this model will be available in the west.

Why do you think the mithycal Dragon's Seawolf would be any better? Their subs in the past weren't very accurate either.

Hope?

I think that Dragon's submarine inaccuracies were a result of limited information/photos available at the time. With luck they won't have that excuse this time around when it comes to the Seawolf..............that is if they ever release it!

Mandrake,
I'm with gerwalk on this one, I've built a few dragon subs and they are not that accurate. I'm not holding my breath that they will get the Seawolf any where near right and nor should you. I actually hope they prove me wrong though.
