Revell Type VII - more new parts!

Just received my new Squadron monthly flyer and they are now listing CMK's Officer Ward room and Galley section for the Type VII kit.
Maybe the aft torpedo room will be next!

Squadron Mail Order is now also accepting Advanced orders for the 1/72 Gato at $89.00 per copy.

        It would be very cool

It would be very cool to see every compartment of that sub modelled. That would be a very impressive static model display indeed. Quite an investment in time and money but, wow, would it be cool.

          That's why my Type VII

That's why my Type VII isn't finished. I just ordered the forward battery and only have two more compartments to go. After battery (crews berthing and galley) and after torpedo room.
The hull halves will be glued togather when all six compartments are in.
Gee, you don't think they'll release a conning tower interior, do you?

              Way to go, Tabledancer, add

Way to go, Tabledancer, add to my problems, with the Gato coming. Just what I need, more ideas to improve the model.
Well it ain't gonna work, I'm standing tough on this one. Interior details only. Right, interior details only.

"Hmmmm.... larger conn .... more guns ...... more details .... hmmmm. .... what changes on torpedo loading layout?" (Wanders off, mumbling incoherently)

                  Oh yeah! Wife knows about

Oh yeah! Wife knows about it. She's got a great sense of humor, if twisted, by 40 years of marriage to a submariner. I've been informed that, if it arrives before Christmas, it gets wrapped and put under the tree. No lookin'!!
So, even if it gets here this week, no model till Sunday. Bummer!!

As to the Gato, it' scheduled to come out one week before my birthday. If it doesn't arrive till after my birthday, it's Christmas present. Talk about sweatin' it!!!!!!
And to make it worse (if possible), starting in September, she'll begin asking "Is the U-boat done?" If I can't say yes, she'll point out, "Well, you're not ready for the Gato, anyhow." If I don't finish the u-boat, I won't be sure if I'm getting the Gato till Christmas morning.
Wives, with a sense of humor, are dangerous.
