I've been researching to build a model Japanese B-1 I-25 submarine.

Anyone got a kitbashable idea? It seems a number of the models I look at are not available.

This above boat comes fairly close to old I-25, but like all those shown, they are seemingly eternally out-of-stock/on backorder.

Any out there that are actually available?

The Nichimo I-19 kits are constantly popping up on ebay (in fact, I bought one on ebay for like $15.00 about a year ago). Do a search on ebay for 'Nichimo' or 'Japanese submarine' and you'll usually find at least one of these kits for sale...
