Thanks Steve,

There are plenty models of a type VII in this scale that are nicer but, this is what I'm capable of. My skills continue to improve. This scale has challenged me in ways I've never been before. (gotta love tweezers for these guys). I enjoy the 1]

Thank you Myles for this

Thank you Myles for this very interesting progress thread. I have learned a lot from seeing the various tools etc you used.
I have a number of these small sub kits, but never had the courage to start them, but now I will look out for the Brass etched parts too. Do you know of an online store that sells them?

Myles, Great job on this thread!! Thanks for taking the time to post such detail on the build, along with some very clear, informative photos! We need more like this; you've set the standard.

Steve,

This is where I

Steve,

This is where I ordered all my Mirage 1]http://www.squadron.com/

Like I mentioned in my tutorial, the brass kits really make these a nicely detailed model that really look bigger than they are.

Any questions, let me know. I tried to cover most everything in the thread. I'm glad I could help.

Good lighting, tweezers, hobby knife, tooth picks, CA with accelerant and you should be good to go.

Myles.
