It was announced in the Nürnberg Toys Fair last winter and seems to be released soon.
The model is produced by Special Hobby (a member of the MPM Group)
Is interesting to note that the box art is very similar to the one from the ICM 1/144 Type XXIII (actually they both depicts the same U-boat in almost the same attitude)
The kit, as others from this company, is made of injected plastic and comes with photoeched and resin parts.
