New russian company to make sub models!

I have received this news from the member gesalinas. It's a russian company called Alanger that bought several ICM molds and also has license from Revell for producing some of their models. But the most interesting part is that they have three new projects]Alanger projects

One Delta IV, an Akula and a Typhoon. From the CAD drawings I can see that they are going to be very detailed. I have yet to check the accuracy of them but they look very nice so far.

Here is the cover of the 2005 catalogue]http://www.alanger.ru/images/news/cat2005.jpg[/img]

Boris,

Good work. The Alanger website

Boris,

Good work. The Alanger website lists phone numbers and a mailing address for those interested in buying their kits. When you spoke to their staff did they mention if individuals would be able to purchase their kits online or are they strickly a mail order business?

Thanks again for finding this new source for Russian subs.

TG,

First of all here is

TG,

First of all here is the link where you may have first glance at Akula and Delta]http://www.alanger.ru/main.ph....=10.jpg

I am not sure how soon this kit will be available in US. Alanger would not sell this kit on individual basics I guess.

Therefore, I am going to bring 50+ kits to Germany, where I live as soon as they be available.

I am not sure how much shipment would be from Germany to US for this kit. May be I arrange bulk shipment to somebody who runs on-line store in US if there would be such an interest.

Has anyone figured the lenght and diamater of the Delta IV in the scale? It was a big boat to begin with. Wonder if the model would be big enough to convert.
Good job Boris!

Wayne,
the model would be about 19" long. I am not sure about diameter, but it looks like not wide enought.

The company has everything in CAD, so making good master and molds in bigger scale like 1]

The first Alanger submarine model

The first Alanger submarine model has being recently (last week) released in Russia.

It is the Akula class (Nato denom.) K-267
You can buy it from Aviapress (if you want to pay them 15u$s for shipping and 15.96u$s for the model and you dare to give your credit card number and personal info to a russian site...if only they accept PayPal!)
