    Revell Type VII  upgrades

    I received parts from Steve Nutall, today. Check out his site at << http://halfliferefugee.homestead.com/HLRsite.html >>
    The parts for the 1:72 boat are a must have. Absolutly beautiful work.
    The 'scopes and gun barrels for the 1:125 are worth having, even if you don't plan to build the model. But you'll need a pretty good magnifier to really appreciate them.

    As far as the cost, both sets are well worth the price.

      [color=#000000]UPDATE-
      I'm just about complete with the construction phase of the Type VII, and I've used the Yankee Modelworks interior, the ModelBrass deck and other photoetch, and Steve's barrels for the 20 and 88, the shafts for the props, and the brass scopes.

      to be completed]

        I know most UBoat guys

        I know most UBoat guys also love the S100 (whats not to love but the guns)

        The the conversion
        I forgot to take a shot with the old 37mm while it was still attached

        But here is the new; the old and the breech

        drilled by hand; nothing fancy here; just drilled #58 in a pin vise (the peg is 1mm)

        Tiny drop of crazy glue teased down the hole; pop it's in

        Brass Barrel with the mount; stunning difference

        It is of course taper drilled
        Note; the Bow gun is a different barrel; same basic layout but the breech end is machined slightly modified to the midship 2cm "Zwilling" Flak

        Price will be the whole set of 3 20mm flak barrels which I posted before and the 37mm; total with shipping $25.50usd

        also these gunscould be pressed into service on the WEM line
