trumpeter kilo 1/144 any good ?

I just stumbled across a trumpeter kilo in 1/144 scale.
seems a nice model with lots of space for conversion
    to R/C.
does anybody have an opinion on the accuracy of this kit ?

did anybody ever see the Romeo they claim to sell ?

    Regards,
    Ronald

    Hi Ronald,

    I have Kilo and

    Hi Ronald,

I have Kilo and Romeo as well.

The photos of Kilo you can find at my site]http://www.deepwatermodels.com/gallery/kilo/[/url]

I have few pictures of Romeo, but they are still not ready for site.

In fact I have one spare Romeo kit. It is Trumpeter's kit but rebranded by Russian manufacturer (box, instruction, etc...).

If you need more info and pictures drop me email.

    Boris

      Ronald,
      I happen to buy this

      Ronald,
I happen to buy this one, Trumpeter Kilo, haven't start to build this one yet.

Compared to Tamiya kit, of course this kit is not that smooth, but from overall looks, this will be a great kit, the hull parts was generally consist of 3 parts, the upper hull of the above waterline part, and 2 more parts will be the lower hull (separated in the middle).

The mast detail is good. And this model is big.

      hope this can help
