Sam, yes that's a good idea, and one I thought about using when I saw Amati did it on their set. The way it stands now, you have to butt the decks pieces together on a flat mating surface and solder from the backside. Reinforcing tabs are optional and should remain clear of the area onto which the Revell hatches will be glued, also from the underside. I know you'll have no problem with it but I just want to point this out for others.

Got mine today Jason. Great

Got mine today Jason. Great work. Love the way it was sent. I thought who sent me a piece of wood. Kept it perfect. Everything is coming into place with this boat. Brass decks,crew for conning tower from Andrea and now it looks like a deck gun crew from the same . All we need is the RC componant I have asked for opinions on Norberts and D Manleys has not played out. I will wait and wait and wait and wait..............
