    Revell Sub Question

I have a question on assembly step 59. What are parts 115 and 116? Do/Will these items cover the holes in the hull? I will be building U-69 / U-552 early only because I like the look of the net cutter at the bow. I started to open all the holes/ports in the hull, then noticed this step.

    A few Type VII's had

A few Type VII's had extensions on either side of the deck gun to reduce the effects of the waves and to provide more room for the gun crew.

Those two parts will cover the existing drain holes on the hull. On my hull, there are two 'drain holes' that are deeper than the others....which I assume is for the locating pins on those parts.

      Thanks Jeff I thought maybe

Thanks Jeff I thought maybe they were only thin shields for protecting the holes and should be "scratch bilt" with thin sheet. Thats what I get for thinking.
