What is the best, most efficient way to get that pour plug off of the bottom of a Yankee Modelworks / BWN Simon Bolivar?

May I use a scroll saw?

The best way is to

The best way is to use a razor saw, cutting as close as posible. Then start sanding! I to just recently picked up a Yankee Modelworks' USS Sturgeon. WOW, I thought they were going to better than BWN's kits. In my opinion, and I own a few BWN kits, they are worse. The resin is of VERY poor quality with pin holes every where. Also how about decals?
