Has anyone scratch built the subs from the movie the abyss? or are there any sites which contain photos or plans ? thanks in advance.

It’s in my "some day" list.
The best information you can get is from the "Special Edition" DVD. The second dvd has many still and images of the pre-production drawings ant the studio models that can be used to make some kind of blue prints.

hey I have that project
hey I have that project under way a 1/24 scale flatbed
drawing planes as timer permits
I have all the pics from thedvd so if anyone wouldlike copies let em know and I can send then along
I actually startedbuilding small parts for it I am using an old cd drive motor encased in a pill bottle for the for the small directional motor at the front of the sub under the cage bars and am working on the main motor housings then its on to shaping foam for the hull and casting in grp
would like to hear more from interested parties
