While i was in the hobbyshop, I noticed a
Zvesda(?) kit depicting a russian "oriol" type sub.
Never heard of that class.
what was the Nato name ?
and is the kit worth Euro/$ 30 ?
Hi,
The Oriol kit is almost absoluletly identical to one of the Kursk.
The difference it the box, decals, and plastic part for standing with "Oriol" instead of "Kursk" plate.

I have never seen the Kurk model is such detail, the first link had layouts of the parts too! I found the model in a local hobby shop, cost about 44$ or so. I wonder if it is big enough to insert a motor or two.
[color=#000000]I have unbuilt Oriol kit. If you need exact dimentions or pictures against something like a bottle of wine I can make shots. Let me know.
The price in Moscow about 10 USD.
In Germany 22 EURO.
