I dont think you will find the rolled plans outside Germany. If you install something like Google toolbar, you can auto translate pages automatically. If you have an Amazon account with stored CC details, you can buy from Amzon germany with a couple of clicks and no need to type anything in. The UK Amazon site sells the book with the reduced plans but not the fullsized rolled plans, if your really stuck with the language http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vom-Original-zu ... 094&sr=8-5
I checked Amazon.com and they don`t have anything like what I`m looking for.All that they have on the Type XXI is two books that I already have. But thanks to Myles Yancy who came to the rescue like the Calvary I think that I`ll be fixed up.So thanks for the help anyway.
They are based in Dresden, Germany. I've bought from them twice (the Type VIIC and Z15-Z32 Zerstorer Vom Original Zum Modell plan sets) and was quite happy with them. I first found them on the German ebay site and purchased from them there, but you can also order directly from their website.
Here's the direct link to the Type XXI Vom Original Zum Modell plan set]http://www.das-geschichtsbuch.de/product_info.php?info=p4282_Fritz-Koehl---Axel-Niestle--Planmappe--Uboottyp-XXI.html[/url] . It's selling for 39 euros.
I have a load of plans on A1 size paper would be able to get them copied, Ill try post a picture of them. I'm building a 32nd parallel XXI in 1:32 scale I have had a drawing scaled up so I can do the build. Tom
If you look on the German Ebay site you can buy U Boot plans. If you search for "Köhl: Planmappe Uboottyp XXI" it will take you to the XXI plans which are A1 in size 841mm x 594mm or 33.1" x 23.4". They have a few other sub drawings I have found Type IX C, Type XVII, Type XVIII, Type XXI and Type XXIII. It looks as if they are all Fritz Kohl plans. They also deliver world wide.
