        Then the correct thing to do would be to remove the file immediately, until you have the correct permissions in writing.

        A good rule of thumb for these documents is to follow Wikipedia's rules for copyright. In fact Wikipedia or Wikimedia may already have many diagrams and drawings loaded. You could therefore place a link to them, and there would be no need to load them here.
