Wisswesser was a hack! If you can find something else such as the TAB pages above, go with those! Of course, getting them blown up to correct size for your model's scale could be problematic, as you'll have to do all of that calculating.
It takes less than five minutes to get drawings scaled within my modeling software.
I create a 3D bounding box of the correct size, (either in real world measurements or scaled down up-front) then import a picture of the view I need, position and size it against the bounding box, saving the configuration for later use, and I'm ready to start modeling.
Within a few minutes, splines can be placed at regular intervals and lofted or create a profile on the X axis and spin it about the Z axis, (for a symmetrical Body of Revolution hull) to create the base mesh for the hull.
