I am shocked that Frank Ryan closed up shop!
His Subconcepts Website is gone!
Last year after contacting 4 US R/C Sub model suppliers, Frank was the only one who was able to get a kit together with no shortage of parts, readily avail, at the catalog price quoted! No one was able to do it at that time!
And this was for an Engel kit from Germany shipped to him first, then to me in about 20 days from my first call to Subconcepts!
I will miss him, and am sorry to see him go. My Engel Lafayette is no where near completion yet, I only hope all the little notes & tips he gave me carry me through to completion.
If it were not for this board, I would be much more concerned over my loss of his support!
I am pleasantly surprised at the wealth of knowledge you guys are sharing with those in need, as well as us newbies!
I wish Frank well & hope all is OK.
From the message he has left it appears he is getting out of the hobby altogether!
I cannot believe this considering the enthusiasm & love he has for R/C subs!
