    well I have completed the transformation of the ballast tanks to the saddle tanks
    ther take up about 2/3 the space of the saddle tanks open space, I walled them off with styrene using tenax 7r for a permanant bond the water inlet is in the front of the tanks and fed via a Y connector from the main pump there is a vent tube exiting the center of each tanks at the very top and these are als on a y connector to vent in to the aft periscope which is 12 long so I can stay at periscope depth and not have to worry about over filling the tanks . I have not tested the boat yet but I am confident it will have little problems
    I am toying with the idea of a water alarm at the very top of the tanks that tie into the pump so if I over fill the tanks it cuts the pump in to emptythe tanks I would like to hear from others who have a fancy to do this thanks for listening to be prattle on and on
