Ok, I am going to try to describe this as well as possible, but it isn't easy.
For ships, such as the Akula that have both upper and lower vertical Tailfins with steerable rudders, AS WELL AS, horizontal left and right horizontal fins with steerable rudders, how do you drive these with a Drive Shaft running thru the center.
As you can see by this pic, they have figured out how to do it without the shafts cris-crossing, but there is no allowance for a drive shaft to pass thru for the propeller. (note, this picture isn't mine, I have stolen it to represent what Im saying)
What am I not comprehending???
Can someone posta pic of what its supposed to look like, maybe a pick showing THEIR Akula Drive Shaft
Thank very much in advance for any help
Kim
