I've got the Monogram? plastic model, and I can fabricate my own drawings from that if I have to, but I'd prefer some ready-made ones.

yes I do too but would like something ready made so I don't have to take the time to loft a set of plans I have a few ideas for control surfaces and using D.M's idea of pumpjets for control

if possible using the same sytem dave has produced in the FS1 pumpjets with rudders in the tube and planes in the tube there are after all four engines in the seaquest and to aid diving I have a idea to have the foward hull surface (samll portion) act as planes top and bottom

Not my work I hasten to add, but the work of a very talented professional pattern maker.

These shots were taken some years back, the project was put on hold while the builder helped raise his young family.

Andy, did you say that this guy is back onto the project after taking a break for a while? I'd sure love to see this thing finished and working!

He is reportedly back on

He is reportedly back on the project as of last January (he got a new swiss army knife for Christmas, so he continue whittling! ), however whether it's in the water yet is a question I can't answer at the moment.

He'll certainly need a big puddle to sink it in!

The Seaview in the picture is a Deboers 7 footer!

Model was referenced from the Monogram kit. Amblin wouldn't release any CGI or drawings.

But you can make your Seaquest whatever size you want, eh!

As I said, he used the Monogram model as a reference, and incidently that isn't 100% correct either.

At the end of the day, who cares?
