    Control of Frequencies

    Hi Guys:
I'm interested in know how do you control the frequencies in a meeting.

We have sometimes problems because two people have the same frequency, and it may cause problems.
We use normally a board with clamps clothespins. Also we have a register od frequencies.
There are any device to scan the frecuencies in FM 35-40 Mhz?

    Best Regards

I just used to use a clipboard, and if there were any clashes I would advise the individuals concerned. If they were unable to alter to a vacant frequency slot, then they would be allotted time slots.

This worked fine, the only occassion it failed was when I was one modeller gave me the wrong frequency number,.

I don't use pegs, because I find people tend to disappear with them.

Frequency scanners were available. They may be a little harder to find nowadays with everyone going over to 2.4ghz.

We (SubComEast) use both a frequency board and a channel scanner. The frequency board uses clothes pins, each with a square of plastic glued to it....the square has the channel number on it. We've not 'lost' any of the pins, but it would be very cheap to replace one!

The same freq board has been used for larger events and regattas.

          Re: Control of Frequencies

Couple of model shops over here have 40mhz scanners in stock. This one is a bit cheaper-

Unfortunately the 35 MHz IDC frequency checker isn't available.

              Good news friends:
It seems that the frequency scanners IDP brand now sells Robbe. 41,40, 27 and 35 MHz are available.
              Thanks for giving me clues.
Now I have what I wanted.

Yesterday I received an e-mail from Steve Webb and said me 35 MHz isn't available. I'm waiting the delivering of the Robbe unit.
