    Launching of Ictineo-II

    Hi guys:
The October 2 1864, Narciso Monturiol launched his Ictineo-II in Barcelona harbor.
150 years and two days later (On Saturday), my model of Ictineo-II 1/10 scale, was launched successfully.
8 years of work were rewarded with a happy navigation.
There are here a sequence of pictures:

        Re: Launching of Ictineo-II

        Hi:
The build thread was published in SCR the first part, the second part in December, and, if the editor will, a third part with a description of the machinery. There are 5 videos too in You tube. Words: Pedro - Gomez - Ictineo .
        Thanks
        Pedro

That is floating art! Well, sinking, then floating, then... Oh never mind, it is a beautiful! Congratulations captain.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
