    1/72 Moebius Skipjack (Scamp)

Yesterday I got a chance to test the Scamp out in grandmother's pool! Wow this sub is fast! Even with the throttle dialed back on the TX to 50% it still moves.

A very fun sub! Got to do some tweaking (the sail plane would not connect), but hopefully be able to get back in the water tomorrow! Incredibly fun sub!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Cool. Is that a whirlpool on the surface behind the sail in the first picture?

Why yes it is! The sub just went below the surface.
There is a video that goes with this on youtube, it is here if you want to see it:

Can't wait when my build is finished when I see these pictures Tom. Nice job.

Great job. Did you use everything from SubDriver and the snort system?

Ken! Glad to see you returning and that the surgery went well!
Yes this is a sub-driver WTC, fittings kit, using the SAS system.

                    Very very nice Tom!
I, for the first time, believe it or not, searched the build logs and saw the pix and video. I love it.

Thank you. There are a lot of talented men here and great information in the different build logs. I am glad you stumbled across mine.
                      Peace,
                      Tom

Very nicely done, Tom! I hope you will bring this beauty to the SubRegatta in Keystone!?

I look forward to meeting you and seeing you there...

                            Matt,
Sure will be there. I will bring the Scamp and others. Really looking forward to meeting you Matt. Keystone is a beautiful area and should be a fantastic line-up of events. Tom Spettle and Colorado Crew are working hard to make it special.
                            Peace,
                            Tom
