    Electrical waterproofing?

I’m in the process of building my first sub, it is a robbe U-47. I would like to mount a servo in the bow for the bow planes. I would like to be able to take the sub apart without disconnecting the linkage for the servo. Mounting the servo is not a problem. What I’m not sure of is how to “water proof” the electrical connection and still be able to disconnect it when the sub comes apart? It is unclear to me if it needs to be water proofed? I would think that it must be but I know that it has been done before but I’m not sure about the electrical connection. Some help please?

    thanks

Search the board. This has been discussed before. In the other discussion there is a link to a page which describes in detail how to waterproof a servo.
