Dave, could you elaborate on exactly what it is that is generating your Tug's engine sound? Did you make this sound unit yourself, or buy it from some source?
I downloaded the pdf file for the Diesel Engine Sound Simulator unit. It states, via jumpers, you can set the sound to simulate 2,3,4,5 or 6 cylinders. The sample recording on the website states it was set for 3 cylinders. Your Tug seemed to sound about the same, as the sample recording, in your videos.
How many cylinders did you have your unit set for in your videos?
Also, could you possibly set yours for 6 cylinders (if it wasn't set for that already), and shoot a brief video of it, so I can hear what it sounds like when set to 6. I am interested in possibly simulating a 6 cylinder diesel, for my U-boat of course.
Hi Steve.
I can do that when I am able to get down to the shop again.
I am recuperating from a short hospital stay now but hope to get back to the dockyard soon. BD.
