Re: rc sub test tank
or you can do this: http://www.target.com/p/intex-120in-...l/-/A-13800360
I did this to trim my Gato.If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Re: rc sub test tank
found a supplier of deadlights(thats non-opening portholes) the company is www.sailboatstuff.com in california. they carry 4 ",5",6",8",and10'' deadlights. they come complet with window rims but no screws. ordered 1 to see how it would work. the guy who runs it, dan volonakis, is real nice and seem interested when i told him it was for testing r.c. submarines. the 5'' deadlite goes for $101.00 including shipping. will let you know how it works out. the owner said if it doesn't so long as i don't mark it up i can return it. have photos on there web site. phone number, 877-447-2457.kurt250

Re: rc sub test tank
well the test tank is done. got the pool lights and installed them. filled with water and tested the alfa she dived all right but the trim needs a lot of work.also vents quite slow. but the test tank is going to make all adjustments much easier. hope to be able to post photo's soon. kurt250
