Value of 32nd Parallel 1/32 Type VII U-Boat Deluxe Kit?
Value of 32nd Parallel 1/32 Type VII U-Boat Deluxe Kit?
Does anyone know the current market value of a new in box deluxe kit? This includes the factory planes, props, struts, Pittman motors and firing torpedoes. It has been sitting in its original shipping box for about 20 years.

Very old technology and the operating system was well, not exactly.
But one of the pioneers of our hobby.
One just like it with the same options just sold on eBay for $350.
So it's hard to say really. But I would say in that price range. BD.

Good answer, BD. These hulls can still be built into very fine operating models....though most, if not all, who build them today do not follow the original plans for the internals. Instead some form of typical dive module is used.
Bottom line is that you should be able to find a buyer for this kit.

Geezzz Jeff!
I guess we should check out Roman numerals better.
Sorry.
I guess I saw what my mind wanted to see.
But the same holds true with that kit.
It is even more antiquated technology than the 23.
I am not sure what they are going for.
Maybe about the same or a little more than the 23.
It is all what someone is willing to pay and what you are willing to take.
I would say between $400-$500 would be good.
What do you think Jeff? BD.

I *was* talking about the Type VII!
For better or worse, these days the internal components are not worth a lot compared to the hull. When compared against the really excellent OTW Type VII hull, the 32nd P does show it's age.
