WTC Tubing

For the WTC tubes, I understand Lexan is the best choice, yes?
I am getting to the part about ordering tubing for two boats , in 4 inch diameter.
So I go to McMaster Carr website to look at what they have. They list polycarbonate tubing "similar to" Lexan.
I seem to remember one composition(maybe acrylic?), Looks the same, but is more brittle, and cracks and develops "spider webbing".
I just want to be certain, before I order for two boats.
Feedback from the experianced please.

I'm sure others here will concur, but yes, you want Lexan (polycarbonate) as your WTC pressure hull material and want to avoid acrylic.

I have had good luck buying remnants from this online company.
They can source remnants from their multiple locations.
The best way to inquire is to call them.

Thanks for the tip.
I need to stuff two Engel 750 or 825's in the Borei. I have not measured yet, because I am still putting the ends on, But I know I need a min of 40 inches for that one.
The X-tail will be here monday. It gets the 500 ML Engel I already bought.
I need to measure them both, to see what I need, but it is coming soon. I am still gathering "stuff" right now, but getting there.
Paul, do you remember where Gail got the stainless threaded rod and carbon fiber tubes he sleeved them with?

Lexan is just GE's trade name for polycarbonate.
