    Resurrecting an OLD kit! U-995

I bought an old U-boat kit last year that was made in the 1980's and hope to get her in the water this year.
Not all the parts were there and she will need some TLC to get in shape.
It is a 1/40 scale VIIc U-995 made by Schaffer in Germany.
The hull detail is great with all the dished panels and rivets.
I guess you have to start somewhere so I started by cutting of the tower which was the wrong one.
Someone along the way tried to put a Robbe U-47 tower on.
At least that is what it looks like to me, and put it on off center at that.
What a mess!! They must have used 5-minute epoxy and it never set up.
It will take a while to dig out all this crapola.
    Fun Fun Fun!! BD.
