    Sturgeon Class ?

    hey guys,
I found a photo on the net of the messenger bouy covers on the Sturgeon to look like they are painted orange. Would this be correct? I can only see one in the photo on the starboard side bow. The aft one is not seen in the photo. Basically I am starting to detail my hull and anything like this would add some cool detail. thanks in advance. JeffJones

They were painted orange during trials and later repainted.

Yea what he said. You could still paint yours in the sea trial scheme, it would be easier to follow when you at the pond. I've seen others do this.

        Thanks you guys,
I will do just that. At least I will be able to tell anyone who ask whats with the orange. Little by little I am getting this boat built. Really screwed up today, I used the rub off numbers and letters on the hull and used some flat clear spray paint over them to seal them down, the problem came a few minutes later when my wife started smelling the paint!!!! Glad nobody was here to hear her cut loose on me..... talk about a can of whoop azz being opened up on you, lol

          Jeff,

You're not supposed to paint stuff in the dining room! Bad juju!
