Before I pull a tx apart it seems a good idea to ask the question: Can I replace the 2 position switch typically used for retracts with a three position to control a pump one way, nothin on central and a solenoid valve the other?

The two position setup supplied moves the servo from one endpoint to the other when operated. Am I wrong to assume that a three position may give an additional neutral point? Be useful if it did......

Any advice appreciated

Yep, should work without any problems. The radio should default to neutral position with the switch in the centre.

I did that successfully with my Ace Nautical Commander transmitter over 10 years ago.
