      Re: Big Dave Seaview

I have four Moebius Seaviews, one is pure display and I am still toying around with making it a cutaway display model.
Three are RC, two are functional SNORT systems, the next Seaview and my new Gato will be RCABS from Big Dave.
I am going to get a Deboer Seaview and kick my ass for not getting the one that sold on this forum, last fall.
      DOOH....that was a STEAL.

I have high hopes to get my hands on this remake of the Seaview
RC Submarines - Seaview Concept II - A while back I talked to a gentlmen about the seaview submarine.I knew the submarine very well,as I have built the sub before. He had the moebius thirty nine inch seaview. It is a very nice model with lots of detail. He wanted a change to the nose and sail as they were not to scale

I would also like one Disney Nautilus at some point.

My next endevor is to build a large Aircraft Carrier like the boys who do war games, from balsa plywood and fiberglass.

I found this, and I am inspired, to build my own next time at this scale.
      ScottOram

So what defines Large Scale? Some say 1/96, 1/72, and 1/48. Well I have a 1/144 Carrier, she is significantly larger than the nect scale 1/350, Measuring in at 8 feet lin, 2 feet wide, and 2 feet from Keel to Mast. I woudl have to say she is large scale..
I got a 1/350 conversion going on with the Big E and I am getting a lot good advice from this thread

I found that the SNORT tube fits the Tamiya Enterprise perfectly.

I have been shown how to make a home made vector thrust system from the ball and socket of a underarm deoderent bottle.
      LOL< HOW INGENIOUS.
RC Submarines - The Aquathrust Vector Drive - I have always wanted to build this kind of unit for variuse raesons one no need for fins of any kind on on vertualy any hull designe even hulls not intendid for water but space! I knewI had a challange coming and after alot of reserch to find the right mini jet drives and

That is for my Star Ship Enterprise project I have in mind.

Waiting on LEDs from China and I need to grab some paint...almost home free.
I have studied Steve Neills build and with Big Dave's CD I will have this baby together in no time.

I await the arrivial of the Gato.

Its fun to have several things to fart around with.
