Some improvements have been fitted on the hull : Hatches cover in copper, hinges in brass...

Hi!
Thank you Solo... I do'nt know if it the most beautiful RC model of CSS Hunley, but I think it's the only one built in metal...
Zinc and copper sheets have been cut, bent, and welded on a wood master...Then more than 3000 drillings (1mm diameter), and 3000 rivets fitted one by one.
Here is a wiew of CSS Hunley on her way at shallow depth, with her motorised "schnorkel" up...
