    Micro-1/48 Hydro

As those that have dared to enter my Dockyard can tell you, you never know what you will find.
I have crap (Spelled cool stuff) all over.
This is a project that some may find interesting.
It is a 1/48 scale hydro that is sold as a small 7" display kit.
I am attempting to make it functionable with a small brushless motor and custom made drive system.
    Talk about your pool racers!!
The prop is only about 1/2". I think I can fit the drive system in but the rest of the R/C I am not sure.
I just thought some may like to see it. BD.

Use a little Spektrum 1.2 gram servo for rudder, and if you have a Spektrum TX the 2 gram indoor receiver. With a 1 gram ESC, you'll have very little excess baggage.

Here is the drive train so far.
I changed to a outrunner motor for more room.
Thanks Andy but I have no 2.4GHZ radio so I will have to try the 75MHZ. BD.

Not to worry, Kev. The pool walls at our Y are lots more sturdy than that wood frame. Though I think the floor tiles of the walkaround still bare some of BD's prop tracks.

Here is a photo of the boat in my hand.
You know what they say about a boat in the hand.
                            Or was that a bird.
I may need a scope Rick.
I am sure Vegas has a pool on if this will sink or swim so to speek.
Working in this scale is really not easy. BD.

You will need mill pond conditions for that little boat.

For this size of craft I think a mono vee hull is best, but it's certainly very cute.
