S636 Argonaute

Hi

I´ve been building this for two or tree years in the middle of other projects that have been taken all my time, but now is time to grab it and finish it.
The actual step is covering the model with aluminium to recreate the details of the hull and all the damages, previous steps can be seen here:

Also I would like to request to anyone images of the keel of this sub, it as some panels as you can see in the image below that I cannot figure out there position and a photo of it would certainly help.

There is a 1/32nd scale boat of this class being constructed on SubPirates. Steve Reichmuth is the modeler. He is very, very knowledgable on this boat. Please take a peek at this thread. I am sure Steve would be most happy to help you in any way he can!

Thanks for the pictures Thor and Steve that sent them by email , I already have that images but they don´t give the best perspective, for example in the image 1 the panels seem to be closed because of the way the photo have been taken but in the picture below they seem to be a little more distant ones from the others.




A better picture is nedded, but it seems to be almost impossible, turist are not interested on the bottom of the sub

Do you think all the openings are plated up to keep creatures from moving in?
Some of these openings will probably want to be left open on a working sub.

I already done that some time ago and Antoine even told me that he would go to the Argonaute taking some images but then he never get in touch again.
I send him a couple of emails after without response, one or two years ago, I don´t know if he change email or something happened, I hope everything is OK with him and he come back soon to help me on this. Does he have recent posts in any forums?

Hmmmm....I know he had some employment issues, but no I have not heard from him in a very long time. I will send him an email to see if he is ok...Hopefully he will respond.
