    Photo etching methods

    im going to assume that photo etching methods have changed a bit sincei last did it 6 or 7 years ago.

    what methods and materials are you all using now?

    maybe check out a few

    maybe check out a few static modelling sites, like http://www.modelshipwrights.com how those people make their own PE.
    PE is much more common in 1/350 scale shipbuilding and suchlike.
    I have no own experience with PE.

    for etching tools you also might want to check out the electronics
    DIY sites and shops. But I'm sure you knew that already.

        Micro-Marc offers a PE kit. I purchased it some time ago but have not tried it out yet.

          That micro-mark set is a good way to learn, but if you are wanting to do a sheet of any size, that kit will limit you. Try something from Mg chemical. I don't think you end up paying anymore in the long run either. They post a pdf app guide on there too. A very easy process once you get the hang of it.
