Transmitter Zebra 4 Fm 40 Mhz: suitable for a sub ?

    Hi all,
I've found, for less than 30 Euro, the radio "14940mw Zebra 4 FM 40 MHz Mode 1 Micro" (maybe produced by Hitec), in bundle with the receiver and the crystals.

I wonder if it's suitable to control a submarine model (4 channels are enough for my work in progress Trumpeter Kilo)

Someone of you have experiences with this radio, tested or use it regularly ?
And, what about the signal strength / interference immunity ?

Alternatively, which 'not too much expensive' radio do you advice ?

    Thanks a lot

    Yep, that'll work fine in

Yep, that'll work fine in a submarine.

You may well find 4-channels is limiting if you decide to advance in this hobby. 6 channels is usually enough to cover most requirements.

A Hitec Laser 6 is a good no nonsense set at a sensible price.
