    Si Fi Project Idea!

While talking to Mr. SiFi sub Rick Teskey over the weekend at our fun run he presented me with an idea of a possible project.
Rick told me about the new large scale Jupiter-2 kit that is rumored to be coming out.
They are saying it will have an 18" diameter.
That would make it a good sized model
Rick said have you thought of R/C-ing the new J2 kit, and I said what J2 kit??
    I don't get out much
I said to him how would you do that??
Then Rick started to explain his approach to making this work and I said
    I LIKE IT!!!
    Very cool idea.
I will not spill the beans on Rick's idea, but I may just barrow his idea and run with it!!
My thing is making an idea work. Or trying anyway.
But as the kit is not even out yet it is just a possible idea, not even a real idea at all!!
Yea!! That’s the ticket!!! It was my idea all along!!
Mine I tell you!!!! Mine Mine Mine!!!!! Ha!!!!!
BTW-Thanks Rick for the cool idea!! BD.

Yeah BD, DO IT! You clearly have a shortage of projects and far too much time on your hands.

              Re: Si Fi Project Idea!

There are quite a few kits to use as guides for some other under sea objects (AKA submerged UFO's). I've been thinking of doing something like a Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon style space ship or modifying/enlarging the Pegasus Hobbies APOLLO 27 rocket.

Get yourself an appropriate tupper-ware bowl and start mocking up a flying saucer submarine. Or foam form it
                like the tooting tug.

Hey Big Dave, since your into R&D, do you want to mock up a sub unit like the chinese omni diretional pump unit for a Polar Lights 1/350 Star Ship Enterprise for me? I sent you a PM.
Beware Steve Neills, one day our common fleet may meet.
