    Seawolf Motors

    Hello all,

I need some suggestions please for motors, I am looking for a suitable 6 volt motor for my Trumpeter Seawolf. The only stipulation is that it needs to be easy to obtain in the UK. I was going to use a special geared 12volt MFA motor but for various reasons I can't and would prefer to run the whole lot on 6volts instead.

    All the best,

    Peter.

    Hi, mine has a normal

Hi, mine has a normal and common 300 6 V motor, the more normal and simple you can find at any hobby shop, and it works fine. The price: around 6 € .

Hi. My SEAWOLF is fitted with a Merriman's subdriver, that came with GRAUPNER 280. I killed (fried) it due to a bad alignement in shaft line, and changed it for a 6 V 300. Both, in direct drive, work nicely.
