    Submarine radio help

well it turns out that failing to read the box is a bad thing
i am the proud owner of a 8 channel futaba radio on the aircraft band and since its been 3 months since i got it i cannot return it

I know subs need to be on the 75 mhz channel can someone recommend me a 7-8 channel radio that isnt one of those 800 dollar ones
im looking to spend about 300 dollars for the radio and would like it to be a modular one

    thanks in advance

PS anyone want picture of the U47 as it stands now

    I think Futaba can convert

I think Futaba can convert it for you. I would call their customer service number...

      Which radio model do you

Which radio model do you have? You probably don't need to send it away, just buy a 75MHz transmitter module. (I can't think of any 8ch Futaba radios that don't use the Tx module system.)

If you've got an 8U (or similar) Futaba makes a 75MHz module that will drop right in to the back of your Tx. Alternatively, you could look into finding a HiTec Spectra 75 which will let you dial up any surface channel you want. They cost a little more but are definitely worth it.
